All the questionsIs it safe to upload my child's photo?
Your photo is sent to the AI service to illustrate your book. Your books stay private unless you share a link. Photos you upload for a single book are deleted as soon as it is ready. A photo you save on a character stays only until you delete that character. Read the full privacy policy
Will it really look like my child?
The illustrations are based on your photo. A clear, front-facing photo gives the best starting point. These are AI illustrations, so likeness can vary with the page and style; the example shows what to expect.
What it costs
A 6-page book from 12 credits — about £1.20. No subscription needed. A book is paid for with credits, and failed books are refunded automatically.
Can family and friends join the story?
Yes. One book holds up to 3 people, and up to 2 of them can be heroes.
What age is it for?
You tell us the child's age and the story is written for it — shorter, simpler sentences for the little ones, a little more adventure for older children. Grown-ups and pets can be in the story too.
How long does it take?
A few minutes. Every page is illustrated individually, so a longer book takes a little longer. You can leave the page open — if you come back, we pick up where we left off.
What languages do you support?
The story itself can be written in English, Turkish, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Danish and Norwegian Bokmål — whichever you pick on the form, whatever site you are on.
