- Choose a Christmas tale. Every tale on this page has its own pictures and, in most, a part a parent, grandparent or sibling can play.
- Add a photo. One clear photo of your child’s face is enough. Up to three people can be in the book, two of them as heroes.
- Read it together. The book is ready in a few minutes. Read it on screen, listen to it read aloud or download it as a PDF to give on the day.
Not sure which tale they would pick?
Give a gift card instead. Choose a card picture and an amount of credits, add a note, and we email it straight away or on the day you pick, Christmas morning included. The family redeems it and makes the book with their own photos. A card is valid for a year.
Christmas book questions
How quickly is the book ready?
In a few minutes. It is a digital book, so there is no printing or post to wait for: you can make it on Christmas Eve and read it the same evening.
How do I give it as a present?
Make the book and open it together on the day, or download it as a PDF to send or give. To let another family make their own, send a gift card by email, now or on a date you choose.
Can the whole family be in the Christmas story?
Up to three people fit in one book, two of them as heroes, each drawn from their own photo. Most Christmas tales have a part for a parent, a grandparent or a brother or sister.
What age are the Christmas books for?
You tell us the child’s age and the story is written for it: short, simple sentences for little ones, a little more adventure for older children.
Is it a printed book?
No, it is a digital book you read on screen or as a PDF. That is also why it is ready in minutes rather than days.
How much does a Christmas book cost?
The same as any other book: from $1.44, paid with credits. A new account starts with 20 free credits.
